A Time to Reflect

Dear friends,

As 2015 comes to a close, it is time to reflect on the many blessings surrounding us.  While we view a tumultuous world, our small penninsula is relatively serene.  That doesn't mean we are untouched by trials.  Last month, you stepped up and donated $1,743.00 to Karen Souza's CAPE COD 5 account.  This account was set up to defray the long year of lost employment, travel, medical expenses, etc. in Karen's battle with lung cancer.  To view our videos of the day's gift basket winners and our message to all who contributed, please log on to SIGNATURE STUDIOS SPA on FACEBOOK.

The year gone by has seen many of you battle personal family challenges and grief.  Yet we are inspired by your strength as you go forward.  Our desire to create a safe, confident environment hopefully adds to your support.  No matter who we are or from where we hail, we trust our respect contributes to your wellness.

Thank you for your referrals to friends and family, it is appreciated.  Thank you for sticking with us while adjustments were made since my injury in February.

In this era of compromised loyalties, we appreciate our relationship with men and women of exceptional character.  You encourage us to keep learning and growing and giving back the best we can.

We look forward to sharing 2016 with you!

Thank you.

Warmly, Ruth-Ellen

With Gratitude

A Note from Ruth-Ellen:

From the Latin gratus "thankful."  Having gratitude is also associated with grace or being graceful.  I could use work on my gracefulness, but I know I'm full of gratitude after this long winter.  Grateful for a wonderful staff.  Vanessa, Jane, and Cheryl just stepped up to take care of us while I was out on medical leave.  Grateful for your patience as appointments were shifted and adjusted.  Grateful for your understanding.  Without all of your support I wouldn't be back fully healed.  Thank you.  Yes, we continue to have evening hours and yes we are here on Saturdays.  Go to http://www.signaturestudiosspa.com/location for hours.

Thank you I am grateful to all

It's the Season to Feel Beautiful!

A Note from Ruth-Ellen:

What a gorgeous fall!  Although the days are shorter, we have not lacked sunshine.  The air is crisp and the colors beautiful!  While enjoying this natural beauty, our skin is changing every day.  LOW humidity means we are not capturing moisture from the environment.  Chilly hands and feet means our body is working harder to reach and hydrate our extremities.  What to do?

HYDRATE, HYDRATE, AND THEN HYDRATE!

*Topically it's time to boost your moisturizer with a drop of hydrating serum (try MURAD Soothing Serum or COSMEDIX Rescue).

*Spritz your MURAD Hydrating Toner throughout the day.  Yes over makeup too!  Ask for your complimentary travel size spritzer with your next purchase.

*Drinking H2O is a must!  If you are thirsty, you have waited too long and you are dehydrated.  Sip mineral water, herbal teas, and diluted juices.

*Hint:  All of your essential organs will grab that hydration first!  You must add to your intake for it to reach the skin.

*Treat yourself to one of our Hydrating Facial Specials for an extra boost.

Wishing you a healthy season as we close out 2013,

Cheryl, Jane, Ruth, and Vanessa

$1590...

$1590

No, that is not the price of our new miracle cream. It is what you collectively donated to Dana Farber on September 14. Thank you for making this our best year yet! Again, this year our event became intensely personal. Three days later, we lost yet another great employee to cancer, Susan Usher. Sue touched many lives over her long career. She was a joy to be around and a true pleasure to work with.

Now, mark your calendar for next year's event to be held on Friday September 20, 2013. Until then, use our seasonal specials to take care of yourself or gift a friend.
